The Gaslight - Baker Theatre announces auditions for Social Security a comedy by Andrew Bergman. Auditions will be held on March 2nd and 3rd at 7:00pm at The Gaslight - Baker Theatre which is located at 216 S. Main in Lockhart.

Three men and three women of various ages are needed. The auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.

Performance dates are April 23rd – May 8th on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm with 2:00pm matinee performances on Sunday May 2nd and
Saturday May 8th.

A Synopsis of the Play:
The domestic tranquility of married art dealers is shattered upon the arrival of the wife's goody goody nerd of a sister, her uptight CPA husband, and her Archetypal Jewish Mother. They leave Mother behind and take off to try and save their college student daughter from the horrors of living only for sex. The comic sparks really begin to fly when Mother hits it off with an elderly minimalist artist who also happens to be the art dealer's best client!
